Founded in 1892 as a company of leather merchants, we have systematically diversified in developing synthetic materials to replace natural products.

Our emphasis is on unique characteristics in appearance, feel, quality and applicability of the materials. We take great care to make our products easily available and easy to work with, and we design them to respond to the specific requirements of our customers.

The Winter Group employs about 400 people around the world, 80 of them at the Basle headquarters. We are represented in many countries around the world with own companies but also with reputable agencies. Our entire product range is available worldwide at realistic prices.
